What is Computer Equipment For Kids??
The Computer Equipment for Kids program provides computer equipment to students in K-12 grades. We work with schools and programs to provide computer equipment to families who cannot afford them. We take old/used laptops/tablets, refurbish them (cleaning the system, installing a new Operating System, fixing minor issues, etc), and deliver them to the students (mail for folks outside Northern Virginia).
We firmly believe everyone should have the right to technology and access to the internet. Just think about how having a computer in your home has helped you learn things you never would have by just having access to the local library.
