We took the D man up to his school last night for school supply drop off and I was informed that there are 4 families signed up for computers and 2 people have computers to donate! 

I will be contacting these families and delivering their computers in the next few weeks.

Hello everyone,

I'm pleased to announce that I have 6 machines built (2 laptops and 4 workstations).   I am in need of computer accessories which include:

-  Keyboards (old school or USB)
-  Mouse (old school or USB)
-  Monitors (old tube monitors or new ones)
-  Speakers
-  Power cables (three prong for monitors and workstations)

Hello all! 

I have started a program to provide K-6 grade children with computer equipment.  I am working with our local elementary school to provide computer equipment to families who cannot afford them.   I take old/used computer systems, refurbish them (cleaning the system, installing a new Operating System, fixing minor issues, etc), deliver and setup the machines so the kids can start using them immediately. 

I firmly believe everyone should have the right to technology and access to the internet.  Just think about how having a  computer in your home has helped you learn things you never would have by just having access to the local library.

I am looking for old/USABLE computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, and mouse equipment.

Just because something is 'old' and the technology might not be as current as you would like, doesn't mean there isn't a child out there who couldn't use it.
